Meet Yukon!
Hi there, I’m Yukon! I’m a sweet, loving guy who’s all about my humans. The moment I met my foster mom’s brother; it was love at first sight—what can I say? I adore people. I’m also house-trained, pretty good on a leash, and love spending time with my foster mom or her brother. Being close to humans makes me happiest.
I’ll admit, I’m still figuring out the whole “dog friend” thing. I was a bit nervous meeting my foster mom’s dogs, but give me a few days, and I’ll warm up. I’m super smart and very trainable, so with a little guidance, I know I’ll get there. Speaking of training, I already have great recall!
I’ve a great focus and observation skills and I’ve figured out how to open doors at my foster mom’s house.
I love toys—seriously, I can keep myself entertained for hours—but don’t worry, I’m not a destroyer. I may have chewed on a slipper or two, but come on, they smelled amazing. I’m also crate-trained, but let’s be real, I’d much rather hang out with my people.
My foster mom says that I am SUPER trainable because I am eager to please and I love my food! I also adore my ball, I can happily amuse myself for ages!
Whether it’s an apartment or a house, I’m pretty flexible as long as I get my daily exercise nothing too crazy. If you’re looking for a loyal, trainable, and loving companion who will stick by your side (and maybe chew a slipper now and then), I’m your guy. Let’s meet soon—I can’t wait to find my forever home!
I look like. St. Bernard mix, but I’m small! I only weigh 39lbs! I am around 2 years old and ready for a forever home full of love.
I am being fostered in Georgetown, TX and I am adoptable in Texas and Northeastern states!
