Meet Wingo!
Wingo is about 1 year old Terrier/Schnauzer mix who weighs around 20 pounds. He is a sweet, gangly little guy who has quickly become one of those dogs who just wants to be wherever his people are. When Wingo first arrived, he was shy but sweet. It didn’t take long for him to come out of his shell, and we’ve since discovered that he is a true Velcro dog. Wingo loves his people and wants to be close to them as much as possible. He is happiest cuddling, lounging nearby, or following his humans from room to room. At night, he sleeps pressed right up against me, because apparently personal space is optional.
Wingo also LOVES toys. He is a major toy collector and can almost always be found with one in his mouth or surrounded by his growing collection. If there are toys around, Wingo will find them.
He’s got a fun puppy energy and those long, lanky legs are still figuring themselves out. He’ll have bursts of energy and is working on his puppy jumping when he gets excited, but he’s also perfectly content to settle down and cuddle with his people afterward.
Wingo is doing well with potty training with the occasional accident, and he’s been a healthy, happy guy since coming into foster care. He loves people and is eager to be included in whatever his humans are doing.
Wingo is also a bit of an attention hog… He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys playing with them, but his happiness really revolves around his people. He could be perfectly content as an only dog or with canine siblings, as long as he’s getting plenty of human interaction. If he does have a dog sibling, he’d do best with one who doesn’t mind sharing the spotlight with this little attention seeker.
More than anything, Wingo is looking for a home where he can be part of the family. He wants his people, his toys, a cozy place to settle in, and plenty of love. If you’re looking for a cuddly, affectionate companion with some puppy energy and a serious appreciation for toy collecting, Wingo may be your guy.
Wingo is being fostered in Buda, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.

PREFERS A HOME WITH:
Would be best as an only dog or with pet siblings that are OK sharing the attention (he is not mean or malicious, but just wants to be the centre of attention)
