Meet Teriyaki, a quiet little soul with a big heart and an independent streak!

Teriyaki is 1 of 9 puppies in the gorgeous Chickaroo litter. At just 7 weeks old and weighing under 5 pounds, this retriever mix may be the smallest of his litter, but he confidently marches to the beat of his own drum.

Teriyaki often prefers to play solo, finding his own little corner to entertain himself with toys or just observe the world around him. He’s friendly with other dogs but doesn’t mind doing his own thing—and that’s part of what makes him so special.

Teriyaki’s Mom is a 40lbs Flat-Coated Retriever mix and we don’t know anything about Dad. He’s not yet potty trained, but he’s already showing signs of a gentle, easy-going personality. Because of his tiny size, Teriyaki needs a safe environment where his wellbeing is top priority. He'll do best with adopters who are home more often than not and can provide a secure space for him to grow and explore at his own pace.
