Meet Susie!

Meet Susie, a silky-haired Spaniel mix who is looking for a loving forever home.

Susie is the sweetest 8-month-old puppy who loves to play and snuggle. She is full of fun puppy energy and will play contentedly by herself with her toys. Even though she loves all toys, she does have a favourite, a little parrot which she carries around the house with her to keep it safe!

Susie is a confident and happy girl at home. In new environments, she does get a little shy, but she warms up quickly, especially if there are treats involved! She loves to snuggle in her foster mom’s lap and to get lovings. She is a great work from home buddy, provided that she has her toys and a comfy chair in which to lie!

Susie is a smart, food motivated girl who loves to learn. She is crate trained, almost potty trained, and has excellent recall. She is also working on leash training and basic commands. She is great with other dogs of all sizes and previously co-existed happily with cats.

Susie currently weighs 17lbs and we don’t think that she’ll grow too much more. She has long, silky fur, similar to an Afghan Hound, and would benefit from regular grooming. Based on her fur, her size, and her energy level, we think that Susie is a Spaniel mix.

Susie is being fostered in Pflugerville, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
