Meet Simba!

If you're looking for a puppy with brains, personality, and endless potential, look no further! This little guy is ridiculously smart and learns new things incredibly fast—especially when treats are involved. He's very food motivated and already picking up tricks and routines with impressive speed. Simba is 14 weeks old, weighs 7lbs, and looks like a Spaniel mix.

He's currently working on potty pad training and is making great progress. His one quirky habit? He prefers not to poop alone, so having a buddy nearby helps him feel more comfortable. He's also doing wonderfully on a leash and enjoys exploring the world by your side.

This playful pup absolutely loves toys, especially a good game of tug-of-war, and his zoomies are guaranteed to make you smile. When playtime is over, he's all about affection—head massages, belly rubs, and snuggling up with his people are some of his favorite things. He's learning how to interact appropriately with cats and gets better every day. Because he's still a young puppy with baby teeth, he'll naturally want to chew on things, but he's very responsive to redirection and quickly switches to an appropriate toy when guided.

At night, he settles comfortably in his kennel and sleeps well. He's also been a star at the vet and tolerates nail trims surprisingly well—as long as treats are part of the deal!

He would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands puppies are a work in progress. With continued training and once he's fully vaccinated and able to spend more time outdoors, many of his current potty-training challenges will likely become a thing of the past.

This sweet, smart boy is ready to find a family who will help him continue growing into the amazing dog he's destined to be.

Simba is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
