Meet Sailor!

Meet Sailor, a sweet, lovable Maltipoo who is looking for a loving forever home.

Sailor is super loving and playful. He is loyal to his humans and accompanies them every time they move around the house. He is the best little lap dog and sleeps on his foster mom’s pillow at night. He loves to play with toys and to chase his balls around. And he looooves fresh air. He recently got to go to the beach for the first time and he was in heaven!

Sailor does struggle when visitors come into his home, so a home with few visitors would be ideal. He does settle down once he realises that the visiting humans or dogs are “safe”. He adores his humans and follows them around the house like a little shadow. He can be a little leash reactive, but he is eager to please, so this is totally trainable. For this reason, we’re looking for a home with a fenced in yard, so that he can play and run free.

Sailor weighs 22lbs and is around 2 years old. He is fully housetrained. He does well when left home alone in his crate, but he doesn’t like to be left home alone for too long. He definitively has some separation anxiety and so we’re looking for adopters who are home more often than not. He is learning to do well in the car.

Sailor is currently being fostered in Taunton, MA and is available for adoption throughout New England.
