Meet Sage!

Meet Sage! This senior love bug is looking for a forever home with endless snuggles and love.

Sage was rescued from a shelter where he was surrendered with the words, “not wanted anymore”. This sweet senior boy deserved a lot better than that, and we hope to find a forever home for him to spend the best years of his life!

Sage is a sweet chihuahua mix who is around 13 years old and weighs only 8.5lbs. Despite his age, Sage excitedly participates in whatever his foster mom is doing. He would happily trot along for short walks and accompany his family to events. He has a lot of life left in him!

Sage is good with other dogs, and he absolutely loves his humans. He dreams of a sweet, snuggly home with a loving human family and one or more cosy laps to sleep on! Sage would be happy as an only dog or as a pack member.

Sage is used to sleeping in a pen with his senior chihuahua friends and currently uses potty pads at his foster mom’s house. Sage would love to learn to potty outdoors and explore the yard!

Sage is being fostered in Round Rock, TX and is available for adoption in throughout central Texas and Northeastern states.

And, if you’d be open to it, Sage would love to be adopted as a bonded pair with his sister, Parsely, who is also adoptable. We’d love to see them go to a forever home together, but it’s not essential!
