Meet Rover, a uniquely adorable Shepherd mix who is looking for a fun and loving forever home!

Rover is a sweet energetic boy who loves to play and get affection. As much as he loves to play, he also is very good at chilling out and amusing himself with a bone or cuddling up with his best doggie friend or human.

Rover is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. He is still learning how to respect other dogs’ space and boundaries when he plays too much. But he is getting so much better with understanding cues from other dogs and it’s shaping him into a very good boy! He would do well in a home with a younger dog or a confident, friendly dog that will remodel proper behaviour for him to follow. We think he’d also do great as an only dog since he loves attention and playtime with his humans!

In terms of breed, can you imagine if a Shepherd had a baby with a Corgi or a Basset? Rover’s adorably short legs are a funny contrast to his pointy ears and intelligent eyes. So basically, he’s a wonderfully unique mix.

Rover is around 1.5 years old and weighs 40lbs. He is crate trained and is learning to walk well on a leash. He’s potty trained as long as you stay on top of taking him out regularly.
