Meet Reuben!

Meet Reuben, an adorable chihuahua mix in search of his forever home. Reuben is a little man (11lbs) in his senior years (about 11 years old), but his age doesn't stop him from enjoying life! He's down to Netflix and chill on the couch, but the moment a squeaky toy comes out he's like a puppy again! He loves to play with toys by himself, with you, or with a doggy friend.

Reuben is always ready for adventure... he makes a fantastic hiking companion and is amazing with his recall! He's incredibly smart, quickly picking up his new name after his foster got him and great with new commands! He loves to meet new people and new pups, quickly getting along with everyone in the room.

Reuben is a true gentleman, not your typical yappy chihuahua. He's not much of a barker, is crate-trained, and does not have any accidents in the house! He's an excellent sharer of food and toys with his foster brother and has yet to meet a human he doesn't like. He takes a few minutes to get over his shyness with new humans, but once he does, he’s your bestie!
