Meet Oso!

Meet Oso! This gorgeous 5.5-month-old German Shepherd puppy is ready for his forever home.

Oso is the most charismatic dog that his fosters have ever met. He draws eyes when out on walks, he is the beau of the Farmer's Market, and he melts hearts everywhere he goes. This boy is truly the perfect dog. Extremely loving, very affectionate, and loves to learn.

Oso is great with dogs, cats, and kids. He politely sniffed a 3-month-old baby, played happily with kids between 5 and 7 years old, and drew a crowd of admirers when requesting belly rubs at the coffee shop! His fluffy ears and ridiculously soft fur make him the perfect snuggle buddy and we know that he’d be delighted to meet snow!

Oso is fantastic in his crate, he walks amazingly well on leash given his young age, and he is completely potty trained. He LOVES to go out and about with his humans, and hasn't yet been anywhere that he didn't have fun! He currently weighs 27lbs and will likely grow to be a medium-large adult (50lbs ish).

Just adding to his adorableness, we found out that Oso is a water lover! He was so cute and happy when he was splashing around in his kiddie pool. We bet that he'd love the beach! He's fantastic in the car too, so road trips and adventures are his fave!

Oso is, of course, naturally smart and eager to please. The ONLY little thing that he needs to work on is not jumping up when he is excited. He worked on this with his vacation foster mom for only 2 days and he was already showing huge improvements.

Oso's most special trait is his utter devotion and love for his humans. When he looks into your eyes, you will melt in seconds. He is a peaceful and calm house guest, a perfect bestie to take on adventures, and adorably playful. And he is truly special since he doesn’t have any of that typical intensity of most German Shepherds.
