Meet Obi!

Meet Obi! This little cutie is a pocket-sized bundle of joy who is full of happiness, curiosity and fun. He enjoys playing with toys, with tug-of-war coming out as a firm favourite! He LOVES his doggie siblings and spends a good part of his day playing chase with them in the backyard.

As well as being adorably playful, Obi loves all things soft and fluffy. He especially loves snuggling up in comfy blankets and soft beds, sometimes burrowing into them until he’s completely covered! He makes it known which doggy bed and blanket is his fave and will quickly claim it as his own. He puts himself in HIS BED when he’s ready for a good nap, even if everyone else is the house is still active and noisy, which is pretty amazing for such a young pup! Talk about a perfect work from home buddy!

Obi is a Chihuahua * Terrier mix. He weighs just under 5lbs and is around 11 weeks old. He’s doing wonderfully with potty training, and foster mom reports he’s almost there! He’s too young to have tried leash walking yet, but with his track record so far, we have no doubt he’d take to it quickly.

Obi is looking for a loving family who will nurture his happy personality, while helping him to discover the world around him. He is at the perfect age to start learning and growing. He sometimes finds sudden loud noises to be a little frightening, but reassurance and love from his people is all he needs.

Obi would do best in a home with a securely fenced in yard and adopters who are home more than not, so that he has a safe place in which to develop and learn. We are looking for a forever home without small kids and large dogs too, since he is so tiny that he could be injured by excessive roughness.

If your family has the love and time that Obi deserves, apply to adopt him!

Obi is currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX and is available for adoption in Texas and the Northeastern states.
