Meet Murray!

Murray is a sweet 1 year old 16-pound Terrier/Schnauzer mix (we're working on bulking him up!) who's ready to find his forever home. Mur didn't have the easiest start to life. We think he spent his first year on the streets, but you'd never guess it from how well he's taken to house life.

Murray bonds deeply with his people. He'll follow you from room to room like a little shadow and loves to curl up close for cuddles. He is the perfect little guy to come home to after a hard day! He settles beautifully into his crate at night without a peep and greets his foster humans every morning with pure excitement. He's mostly potty trained, with just the occasional accident indoors.

Murray gets along well with his doggo foster sibling and would be happy as an only dog or in a home with other pups. He does prefer slow introductions to other dogs since he gets a bit nervous, but once he feels safe, he loves to snuggle and play with his doggie sibling!

He walks well on a leash, and while new sounds still make him a little nervous, he's already conquered elevators and stairs. His foster home is in a busy area of Austin, so it’s amazing how well he has adapted to walks in a busy area, but he is understandably a little nervous nellie when out and about since everything is just so new. He probably isn’t ready to go everywhere with his humans yet, but with lots of positive reinforcement dn love, we know that he will blossom! The progress he's made in just his first couple of weeks in foster has been tremendous.
