Milanese is 1 of 9 puppies in the gorgeous Chickaroo litter.* This 7-week-old retriever mix currently weighs about 8 pounds and already lives for fun.

She’s active, toy-obsessed, and especially loves chasing her ball—making her a perfect match for an outdoorsy adopter ready to keep up with her zest for life. Milanese’s Mom is a 40lbs Flat-Coated Retriever mix and we don’t know anything about Dad.

While she’s still too young for potty training, Milanese is showing all the signs of a smart and spirited girl who will thrive with structure and companionship. Milanese thrives in the company of other dogs, so she’d love a doggie sibling in her forever home. Her forever home should have a securely fenced yard and adopters who are around more often than not to help her grow and stay safe. Because of her young age and energy level, she’ll do best in a home with children over the age of 7.
