Meet Margarita!

Margarita is a petite, 4-year-old Pomeranian weighing about 8 pounds, and she’s as sweet and gentle as they come. She came from a backyard breeder, so she’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place—but she’s making lovely progress every day.

Margarita is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She does wonderfully with other animals, peacefully coexisting with cats (she simply ignores them!) and getting along great with other dogs, preferring to do her own thing rather than cause any fuss.

She is a sensitive girl who warms up slowly to new people. She may bark at first when meeting someone new, but after a few minutes she settles down. Margarita is especially nervous around men, though she is improving with patience and calm interactions. She does best with quiet, gentle children and would not enjoy a loud or chaotic household.

Margarita is very bonded to women and truly thrives when she can be close to her person. She loves being near you throughout the day and would be happiest in a home where someone is around a lot. One of her favourite things is mealtime—she gets so excited she does a little happy dance! Afterward, she’s perfectly content curling up next to you, falling asleep while being gently petted.

She is currently working on potty training and does well with consistent, regular trips outside, though she may still have the occasional accident as she continues learning.

Margarita is a quiet, loving companion looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe, adored, and never rushed. With time and understanding, she will make a deeply devoted little best friend.

Margarita is being fostered in Round Rock, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
