Meet Mack!
Meet Mack, a sweet and sensitive 3-month-old German Shepherd mix who’s ready to find his forever family!
At around 20lbs, Mack is a gentle pup with a heart of gold. He’s a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and playful personality starts to shine. Mack loves being near his people and looks to them for reassurance in new situations—he’s truly a loyal little guy in the making!
Mack is fantastic with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a doggy friend to show him the ropes. He gains confidence from his furry pals and loves to join in on gentle playtime. As he grows, we’re sure he’ll enjoy roughhousing and romping around with the best of them!
He’s also great with cats! He’s curious and respectful, happy to give a quick sniff and then move along—especially if the cat makes it clear who’s boss.
Mack does well with kids, especially those who understand puppy behavior. Like many pups his age, he’s in the teething stage and can be a bit mouthy, so a home with children 8 and up would be the best fit.
Mack is already fully potty trained and will scratch at the door or give a soft whine when he needs to go out. He’s also crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, occasionally waking for a quick cuddle or potty break. During the day, he loves relaxing in his crate with a bone or chew toy.
While he’s still a bit young for walks, Mack has started leash training in the yard and is doing awesome so far! He’s very food motivated and is already learning commands like sit and come. He’s a smart cookie who loves puzzle toys, kongs and anything that keeps his clever mind busy.
Mack would do best with a patient, loving family ready to continue his training and confidence building. With the right guidance and lots of love, he’s going to grow into the most loyal, loving companion.
If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive, and intelligent pup to grow with your family, Mack is ready to meet you!
Mack is being fostered in Connecticut and can be adopted within the New England states.
