Meet Luka: The Little MVP of Love and Leaps!

Luka is a 1-year-old black Maltese with a heart as big as his vertical jump—and yes, he can fly! At just 8 pounds, this wiggly bundle of energy is ready to find his forever home after receiving all his vaccinations and being neutered.

Named after a pro basketball player for his impressive hops, Luka is a smart, affectionate pup who’s always ready to play, cuddle, and shower you with kisses. He’s high-energy and thrives with structure—he’s already mastered the art of walking himself to the back door when it’s potty time. While he’s still working on full potty training, he’s making great progress with a consistent routine and lots of encouragement. He does great when left alone, is a fantastic car rider, and is good on leash.

Luka sleeps soundly through the night in his foster mom’s bed and greets her each morning with tail wags and enthusiasm. He’s looking for a home that can match his zest for life and help him continue growing into the amazing dog he’s becoming.
