Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a 10-year-old, 15lbs Chihuahua through and through. She loves a good soft spot, cozy blankets, tasty treats, and most of all, being close to her people. If you’re sitting down, there’s a good chance Lucy will want to be right beside you, soaking up all the cuddles she can get.

Lucy has a sweet, gentle personality and settles easily into home life. While she’s happy to relax on her own, she truly enjoys companionship and loves spending time with other dogs. She has become fast friends with her foster siblings and would likely enjoy a home with another friendly dog to keep her company.

One of Lucy’s favourite places is the backyard, where she enjoys exploring, lounging in the sunshine, and keeping an eye on the world around her. She can also enjoy a nice walk, though she may get vocal when she spots other dogs or people while on leash.

Lucy gets along well with people and other dogs, and although she’s a senior girl, she still has plenty of love to give. She is house trained once she settles into a routine and understands the household schedule. She is spayed and fully up to date on vaccines.

Like many little dogs, Lucy isn’t a fan of storms and can get a bit nervous during car rides. What helps her most is having loving people nearby and a cozy place to curl up.

Lucy came into rescue through no fault of her own and is now looking for a family to spend her golden years surrounded by love, companionship, and plenty of cuddles. If you’re looking for a sweet senior companion who wants nothing more than to be loved and included, Lucy may be your perfect choice.

Lucy is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
