Meet Love Bug! This adorable senior Morkie (Maltese and Yorkie mix) is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy love and happiness in his golden years!

Love Bug definitely lives up to his name. He will nuzzle into your neck and chest when he’s being held, and he REALLY loves to be held. He is an affectionate and sweet senior who brings love and smiles to brighten his foster’s day. He is great with other dogs and doesn’t even notice the cats in his foster home!

Love Bug is vision impaired due to his age, so sometimes he will crash into things, but this does not impact his happy little self at all! He sleeps in a pen for his safety, so that he doesn’t get “stuck” under or behind furniture at night or when he’s home alone. If he does get stuck when he is home and supervised, he will cry out for help until someone comes to rescue him, which is kind of sad, but also adorable!

Love Bug is 13 years old and weighs a precious 5.5lbs. We would recommend a home with a securely fenced in yard or a secure outdoor space where he can enjoy some outdoor freedom. He is mostly potty trained but will have an occasional accident if he gets stuck or confused. Due to his size and vision impairment, we are looking for a forever home without young kids for this sweetie pie.
