Meet Lenny!

Lenny is a gorgeous brown chihuahua dachshund mix with a big personality just waiting to come out. He's nervous and shy at first, but with the right person by his side, this boy is ready to bloom. He just needs someone patient, loving, and willing to earn his trust. Totally worth it, we promise.

When he's feeling cozy, you'll find him tucked under the couch playing peekaboo (yes, really, and yes, it's adorable). He loves his crate, is fully potty trained, and does wonderfully working from home. He also loves to eat, so he'll need an adopter who keeps him on a routine. A boy with taste!

At 17.5 lbs and about 1.5 yrs old, Lenny isn't leash trained yet, so a fenced yard or secure outdoor space where he can run free is a must. He also does best with a canine companion by his side, so a home with another dog is ideal. He does great co-existing with kitties too!

If you've got a patient heart, a gentle home, a furry friend on the couch, and a safe yard to boot, Lenny might just be your perfect match.

Lenny is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
