Meet Kit!

Kit is a young, gentle Hound mix who’s already charming everyone he meets. He has a sweet, calm demeanour with just the right amount of playful puppy energy that comes out in small, joyful bursts.

He has the face and body of a slinky Dachshund, but we think that he’ll grow to be a lot bigger than a typical Miniature Dachshund! He weighs 10lbs at 3 months old. He’s remarkably calm and affectionate for such a young puppy.

Kit is doing an amazing job with potty training — he’ll stand patiently by the door when he needs to go outside. He’s still learning, so if his cues are missed, he may have the occasional accident.

He sleeps soundly in his crate at night and spends his days happily hanging out in his foster mom’s office, alternating between playtime with his toys and cozy naps by her desk.

Kit is also a social butterfly who loves other dogs — he’s made lots of friends in the neighbourhood and enjoys gentle playtime with them.

He does have a bit of separation anxiety, but he’s making steady progress as his foster family helps him learn that it’s okay to be on his own for short periods.
