Meet Kanga!

Kanga is a sweet, happy 2-year-old Red Heeler mix who is looking for a loving forever home. Weighing in at 36lbs, she is a perfect medium-sized girlie.

Kanga is an utterly joyful dog who exudes happiness with tail wags which involve her entire body. Her wiggles and wags of happiness are contagious, and you will find yourself smiling along with her!

Kanga is very social with both people and dogs. She loves to romp around the yard with her furry foster siblings and makes for a perfect snuggle buddy on the couch or in bed. She has an extremely gentle personality and does well with dogs of all sizes. We think that she would be happy as an only dog, as long as she gets play time with other dogs, although a fur sibling in her forever home would be a huge bonus!

Kanga doesn’t get crated much at her foster home because she is totally trustworthy being a free-range dog (non-destructive), but she will settle in a crate if you need to crate her. She is house trained and even knocks on the door to be let in and out. The only thing that she needs to work on is her leash training – she hasn’t had much chance to try it yet, so a fenced in yard in her forever home would be ideal.

Kanga’s foster parents describe her as “an utter delight”, and we know that she is going to make her forever family so so happy.

Kanga is being fostered in Round Rock, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
