Meet Juniper!

Meet Juniper — a tiny (8 lb) Chihuahua mix with best friend energy. She’s equal parts playful and snuggly: give her a soft toy to pounce on, a hard chew to work on, and then she’s happiest curled up close for cuddles. This 1.5 year old girl is ready to be someone’s princess!

Juniper is also a great little walking buddy. She naturally sticks with you and will even heel on her own (she just hasn’t learned the cue yet). With gentle guidance, she follows along beautifully and makes walks easy and enjoyable. She likes to play with other dogs and she is very smart and food motivated!

In the house, Juniper is doing really well with crate training and is making steady progress on potty training. She’s not 100% yet, but she’s having about one accident a week, and that’s likely to keep improving as she settles into indoor life and a routine. She is doing well with the toddler in her foster home, but might prefer a home with older kids who have mastered their hand-eye coordination!

If you want a small dog who can play, cuddle, and happily trot by your side, Juniper might be your girl.

Juniper is currently being fostered in Austin, TX and is available for adoption in Texas and the Northeastern states.
