Meet June Bug!

Meet June Bug, a gorgeous Cattle Dog * Australian Shepherd pup who is looking for a loving forever home.

If you're looking for a sweet, playful pup that’s loyal and loving, then look now further than June Bug. This sweet girl has a good balance of energy, with playful periods but a generally calm personality for a puppy.

June Bug loves her doggie siblings and a dog sibling in her forever home would be a bonus (but not a requirement!). She loves having the freedom to run and explore outdoors, so a fenced-in yard is a must in her forever home. She is smart and athletic, so would love a forever home where she gets lots of play time and can learn new commands. She currently knows “sit” and is excited to keep learning more!

June Bug is shy with humans to start with, but bonds deeply with her people and will become her humans’ shadow once she feels comfortable. She is food motivated and warms up quickly with treats and lovings. Despite her loyal nature, she isn’t clingy and happily naps in her favourite cosy spaces in the home.

June Bug is around 6 months old and weighs 36lbs. She has settled beautifully into her foster home. She’s potty trained, crate trained, walks very well on leash, and has no problem with car rides. Because of her sensitive nature, June would do best in a calm, patient home that gives her time to decompress and feel safe. She would be a great match for adults or respectful, dog-savvy older kids who can go at her pace and allow her to come out of her shell on her own terms.

June Bug does suffer from a little bit of separation anxiety, so we are looking for adopters who are home more often than not. She is used to sleeping with her humans but she has been learning to do well in her crate when home alone.

If this sweet, happy girl sounds like your perfect match, apply to adopt her today!

June Bug is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable in Texas and throughout the New England states.
