Meet Indie!

Indie is a 6-month-old smooth-coated Parson Russell Terrier and Miniature Schnauzer mix (we did her DNA!) with a big personality packed into her 20-pound frame. This playful, energetic pup is always ready for her next adventure, especially if it involves being outdoors.

Indie has the classic instincts of Terriers and spends her days playing in the yard chasing bugs and lizards, playing with leaves and chewing on sticks. Indie is happiest when she's wrestling or playing chase with her dog siblings and playing with toys (and occasionally a slipper if one is left unattended!). She has a medium-to-high energy level and would love a family that can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. She is also a water-loving dog, so she’d be super fun at the beach or with a doggie pool in the backyard.

Indie is crate trained for when she is left home alone, but she does prefer to sleep with her humans. She is fully potty trained, uses the dog door, and extremely trainable. She is eager to continue learning new things and to join her family on all of life’s adventures. If you’ve been looking for a small-medium sized hiking buddy, Indie is the one for you!

Indie adores other dogs and does really well with dog-savvy cats. She also loves kids! She would prefer a forever home with canine companions and an active family ready to give her plenty of playtime, exercise, and love. She's smart, affectionate, and full of puppy charm.

If you're looking for a cheerful sidekick who will keep you smiling and make every day a little more exciting, Indie may be the perfect addition to your family!

Indie is being fostered in Lago Vista, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
