Meet Hercules!
Hercules is small but mighty. He’s been through a lot in his 1.5 years on this Earth, but it hasn’t dampened his spirit one bit! This little guy is equal parts sweet and spicy. He is a consummate cuddler and a party animal, getting along with the many dogs who inhabit his foster home. His foster family call him the anti-alarm clock, because when you wake up with this little guy snuggled against you, you don't want to get up, ever.
Hercules is potty trained, aside from the odd occasion when he marks in the house. He eats in his crate but otherwise is a free-range dog. His foster family think that he would love to go on walks with his humans, he will just need a nice gentle introduction to leashes first! He has ridden in cars well, but he doesn’t like to be crated and will be looking to share his forever family’s bed at night.
Hercules has done great with kiddos in his foster home. He prefers a low traffic forever home, since visitors sometimes make him feel a bit protective (typical chihuahua!). Hercules loves other dogs, but we think that he’d be equally content in a home where he is the only dog, as long as he gets lots of snuggles! He weighs around 8lbs.
His foster mom told us that he is a delight to have around, and that she will miss him when he goes to his furever home.
