Meet Henri!

Meet Henri, an extreme handsome and sweet Schnauzer who is looking for a patient and loving forever home.

Henri is a perfect gentleman of a dog, a lover not a fighter. He contentedly allows his foster siblings, who are half his size), to rule the roost. He loves his walks in the neighbourhood, taking time to smell the flowers along the way. He follows his human around the house like a little shadow, even to make sure that everything goes okay in the bathroom! Henri sometimes confuses human things for toys, but this is easy to work on with redirection and play with his doggie toys.

Henri does start out very shy. He was neglected and matted before we rescued him, so he is timid around strange humans. He didn’t even know what a couch was when he first saw one! But give him one week, and he’ll open up to become a spunky, loving little man. He sleeps under his foster mom’s desk while she works and enjoys lapping up the attention from his humans. Henri free roams when left home alone and doesn’t show signs of any major separation anxiety.

Henri is around 1 year old, and he weighs 21lbs. His main breed is definitively Miniature Schnauzer. We are unsure if he’s a mixed breed or purebred. He will need to have his beautiful grey coat taken care of with regular groomings and care.
