Meet Gilbert!

Gilbert is a sweet, playful boy who is ready to become your dog(s) best friend because he absolutely loves to wrestle and play with his foster siblings. His favourite things in life are playing outside and rolling around in the grass. So, if you’re looking to add a playful and fun boy to your pack, look no further!

Gilbert is a friendly, happy little Chihuahua. He can be a little timid at first and takes some time to warm up to people (but not to dogs!). Once he feels at home, he turns into quite the snuggle bug and likes to give his foster mommy lots of kisses. He just recently started to play tug-of-war and play with toys too, another sign that he’s flourishing with love and doggie siblings.

Gilbert is around 3 years old and weighs a teeny 7.7lbs. He is crate trained, and has almost got potty training down! He knows how to use the doggie door. And even though he is crate trained, he doesn’t like to be in his crate for extended periods, so it would be best to have a home with people home more than not.
