Meet Gigi!

Introducing Gigi, a playful and fun little puppy who is looking for her forever home!

Gigi is a very energetic and playful dog who is around 8 months old currently weighing 10 pounds . She LOVES other dogs and will play with them for hours on end. She loves to run around the backyard and has the cutest zoomies. She also loves water! If her foster mom turns on the hose, she gets super excited and goes absolutely wild with joy running all around happily.

Gigi’s sweet, charismatic charm is unmatched. She has the cutest hairstyle, although we’re not sure what her breed mix is! She loves to be her humans’ shadow, sticking by their side throughout the day as they go about their business. She is also a curious explorer and loves to check out her surroundings. When her humans come home or go outside into the yard with her, she gets very excited and jumps around them happily, like a scruffy little bunny!

Despite her energy during the day, Gigi sleeps through the night without any issues. She is almost completely potty trained, and she is learning to stay in her crate when left home alone. She is still learning how to walk on a leash and remains fearful of car rides.

At first, Gigi comes across as extremely timid around people. But she simply wants to hide, she doesn’t get defensive in her fear. Give her a couple of days though, and she’ll come to you on her own terms, becoming your loyal sidekick forevermore. Even once comfortable, she does prefer to be the one initiating contact. If you are sitting in the couch or lying in bed, she will shower you with endless kisses.

Gigi has been in foster care for over a month since she was dumped in a Walmart parking lot. She is a loving, loyal, and playful girl with lots of happy energy. She does still startle easily and is timid in new environments, so patience and gentle reassurance is the key. She just needs someone who's willing to meet her where she is and let her build trust at her own pace. Despite her initial shyness, Gigi is great with kiddos who are willing to be patient as she learns to love them. She previously lived with 2 kids under 8 years old and was amazing with them once she got over her initial fear.

Gigi is being fostered in Round Rock, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
