Meet Donut!

Donut is a handsome Shepherd mix with the sweetest personality! At just over 1 year old and 41 pounds, he's the perfect medium-sized companion—big enough to join you on adventures but small enough to fit right in at home.

Donut is a social butterfly who has never met a stranger. He absolutely loves his foster dog sister and enjoys playing with his kid foster siblings, too. He even shares his home with cats and doesn't mind them one bit!

Like any true Texan, Donut likes to start his day early. You'll often find him enjoying the cool morning air in the backyard before the Texas heat kicks in. He loves running laps with his foster sister, enjoys a game of fetch every now and then, and is always up for some outdoor fun.

When the day winds down, Donut is happy to curl up in his kennel on his favourite fluffy blanket for a good night's sleep. He's kennel trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and is currently learning to sit. He's a smart boy who's eager to keep learning!

Donut's only "job" is helping keep an eye on the house. He'll let you know when the delivery driver arrives (because his foster sister insists that's part of the job description!) or if his foster sister decides she's done playing. Otherwise, he's a quiet, happy pup.

One thing to know about Donut is that he loves being around his people. He doesn't enjoy being left alone for long periods and would thrive in a home where he has plenty of companionship—whether that's a person, another friendly dog, or both.
