Dixie is a sweetie pie who enjoys the simple things in life. Sunbathing in the yard? Amazing. Snuggles with her humans? She’s in! Walkies? Loves them! And treats? Her favourite!

Dixie is an easy going, low maintenance girl who thrives with patience and love. While she may take a little while to warm up to her humans, she’s a total lovebug once you get through her scaredy exterior! And once she feels safe, you’ll see her loving, sweet, and fun personality!

Dixie has shown herself to be able to adapt to new environments with relative ease. She doesn’t have any “must haves” for a forever home because she will be happy as long as she is loved. She shares her foster home with other dogs big and small, and she does great with them all. She’s even started to play with some of her foster siblings!

Dixie is a gorgeous Shih Tzu who weighs around 13lbs and is 4 years old. She is good on leash and crate trained. She is still working on potty training, but she’s close to being fully trained!
