Meet Clifford!

Clifford got his name from his beautiful red coat — and just like his namesake, he’s a big-hearted boy who loves everyone he meets! At about 8 months old and 35 pounds, Clifford is the perfect mix of playful puppy and sweet snuggle buddy.

He loves spending his days playing with his doggie foster sister, romping around the backyard, or enjoying a good bully stick. When it’s time to wind down, you’ll often find him curled up or spouting out nearby for a cozy nap. Clifford also enjoys his stuffed toys (he’s gentle with them!) and is learning to play fetch.

This smart pup is potty trained, sleeps through the night in his kennel. Clifford is working on his leash manners and has almost mastered the sit command. He’s not particularly interested in cats, so he’d fit right in with or without feline friends. He would really like to meet that squirrel in the backyard, though! His stunning colouration and adorable markings lead us to think that he is a Labrashep (Labrador * German Shepherd).

Clifford is being fostered in Buda, TX, and is adoptable throughout Texas and the Northeastern states.
