Meet Chex!

This 6-month-old, 24lbs cattle dog/chihuahua mix is a happy, sweet little boy who likes everybody---people, dogs of all sizes, and cats too.

He’s currently being fostered with three dogs and two cats, and the antics are nonstop. Playful, curious, and super affectionate, Chex’s tail is always wagging. After a good workout of tussling with his toys and mates, he’ll settle into a favourite bed or chair for a nap. He doesn’t need to be crated as he is not destructive and prefers his own toys!

Chex is vaccinated, neutered, fully potty-trained and sleeps through the night. He happily trots in and out the door to a fenced-in yard, where he loves to run zoomies, or roll in the grass in the sunshine with his dog friends. He is doing well learning to walk on a leash. He does start out shy with strangers, but once he feels comfortable, he is a snuggly, happy boy and would make for a perfect family dog!

Chex is currently being fostered in Central CT and is available for adoption throughout Northeastern States.
