A tiny survivor looking for a patient, loving forever home.

This 1-year-old female Chihuahua came from a 50-dog hoarding case in Texas, an despite this difficult start, she is making incredible progress every single day.

Celeste weighs 8 lbs and does start out a little cautious around humans, but once she feels safe, she becomes the snuggliest lap dog ever! Her favourite place is right by her humans’ side (or on their laps!) and she loves to be doted on. Her sweet little face and adorable "smile" will make her forever family smile everyday.

Celeste takes comfort in following other dogs’ leads, which means that she would do best in a home with at least 1 doggie sibling. As her confidence grows, she is beginning to explore on her own, whether that means snuggling with other dogs or quietly hanging nearby watching the world, but other dogs are still a constant comfort for her.

Celeste will thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands shy dogs and will give her the time to continue blossoming. Because sudden movements and loud environments can still scare her, a home without small children would be best.

Celeste is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
