Meet Bunny!

Meet Bunny! Bunny is a sweet 16-week-old girl, currently 15lbs, who’s believed to be Shepherd x Husky x Pittie mix.

Mabel and Bunny, named after the show Only Murders in the Building, didn’t have the easiest start, arriving in Austin underweight alongside their thin mama. With love and good care, they’ve transformed into healthy, joyful, soft-furred puppies who adore people, other dogs, and even horses. They’re happy, gentle, easy to train, and ready to bring so much love into their forever homes.

Personality: Bunny is a kind-hearted, loving, energetic puppy who brings joy everywhere she goes. She’s the more confident and outgoing of the two sisters, always eager to explore and join in whatever her humans are doing. Bunny is incredibly people-focused and absolutely loves snuggling. She also has the funniest “ahooo” yawn sounds that melt hearts instantly, and in the car she likes to add her own little commentary: soft, curious noises that sound exactly like she’s saying “what??” or “wow!!” She gets along beautifully with other dogs, is gentle and submissive, and is equally respectful around horses. Her fur is incredibly soft!

Training: Bunny is remarkably easy to train. She picked up potty training quickly and had only one accident during her first week in foster care. She sleeps from 10pm–7am in her crate without barking or making a mess, which is rare for a young puppy. She’s learning “sit,” getting comfortable walking on a leash, and already shows excellent recall when called. She’s eager to please, responds well to structure, and is the kind of puppy who makes training feel incredibly rewarding.

Habits: Bunny soaks up affection like a sponge. She enjoys wrestling and toe-nibbling play sessions with her sister, but she’s also calm and easygoing when it’s time to settle. She travels well in the car and is a quiet companion, aside from her adorable conversational squeaks. Bunny loves being near her people and thrives when included in everyday activities.

Vet History: Bunny is fully vaccinated, dewormed, and up to date on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. After arriving underweight, she’s been steadily gaining and is now thriving physically and emotionally. She’s ready for her forever family to continue giving her the healthy, happy life she deserves.

Bunny is being fostered in Dripping Springs, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
