Meet Bugsy!
Hello, I’m Bugsy! I am looking for a patient and loving forever home where I have lots of play time and lots of snuggles.
I’m just a baby, at only 9 months old, but I am already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My foster mom tells me that I can a Shihtzu * Pug mix, which apparently is adorable. I can be scared of new things to start with, but I adjust pretty quickly once I feel safe, and then my fun, spunky personality comes out. My foster mom says that I am SO fun to be around. I make her smile with my silly personality.
I love my foster home, and I feel super confident here! I have learned that I LOVE balls, like SO MUCH. My foster mom bought me 6! And I love each and every single one of them. I love to play and I hope that my new forever family will buy me lots of balls to play with! I like to play with other dogs too, but my balls are my truest love.
I love to follow my foster mom around like a little shadow. She lets me sleep with her because I don’t like the crate. But I’m a good boy when left alone out of the crate and I don’t get up to mischief. I weigh 15lbs and I probably won’t grow too much more. I’m pretty good at going potty outside, especially since my foster Mom watches me & takes me outside regularly.
My foster mom doesn’t get many visitors. When people do come over, I can be a little scared, and I let my mom know by using my voice. But I do warm up to the visitors! I was excited because they offered to play fetch with me, and that is the easiest way to win me over!
I let my foster mom do anything to me: wash my face, trim my face hair, give me baths. I even let her wipe poop off my butt (just a little, one time). I love and trust my people once I feel comfortable. I will need to be groomed regularly in my forever home to keep me tidy and healthy.
I would prefer a forever home with a quiet environment and no young kiddos. Actually, I have a secret. I don’t really feel comfortable around young kiddos, so I would prefer a home with kids who are over 15 years old. I would be happy to share my forever home with other dogs, but I don‘t need that, I would be perfectly happy being the only dog in the home. I would really like to have a family where my humans are home more than not.
I am a special boy. I appreciate calm environments, snuggles with my humans, and BALLS!
I am being fostered in Austin, TX and I am adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States.
