Bernard is highly trainable and picks up on things super quickly. He really wants to please you, and he’s already mastered loose leash walking at your heel, sitting for his meals and on command, and is learning recall.

He also does the funniest hops and deer jumps when he runs—it's incredibly cute! But don’t be fooled, Bernard’s maturity means he’s ready for more than just playtime—he's a sweet, loving boy who’s settled and ready to bond with his forever family.

Bernard loves everyone he meets—100% lovebug—and he’s been known to bust out some dance moves on his back legs (he should have been named “Billy Elliott”!). He’s learning that dancing with people is only allowed when invited to do so, and he’s 80% there.

Crate trained and potty trained, Bernard loves his crate and quiet times. He sleeps soundly from 10 pm to 7 am with no accidents or fuss, so you don’t have to worry about overnight challenges.

Confident and well-socialized, Bernard has been an absolute champ at Home Depot, now calmly navigating shopping carts, beeping forklifts, and automatic doors.

Bernard is just a happy dog who wants to shower his humans with love. He’ll close his eyes with delight when you pet him, almost like he’s in heaven. Bernard is the perfect mix of a loving, playful companion with all the benefits of an adult dog—already trained, eager to please, and ready to be part of your family.
