Meet Athena!

Meet Athena! Our tiny Athena girl is officially ready for her forever home! At roughly 8 weeks old and just over 6 lbs, she is a dainty little thing with a courageous spirit. She’s not afraid of a challenge—she’s already been trying out her harness (which will be sent with her) and exploring the house one step at a time.

When she’s not being a "brave explorer," you can find her buried in the softest pillows she can find for a nap or begging for her favourite salmon treats. She’s a smart girl who tries her hardest with her potty training (even if her aim is occasionally an inch off!). She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her zoomies, reward her with snacks, and give her all the belly rubs she can handle.

Athena is incredibly sweet with everyone that she meets. She loves other dogs, does great with cats and loves her humans. We think that she is a little terrier mix, with soft but scruffy-looking fur. She weighs 6.5lbs at just over 8 weeks old, and is ready for her forever home!

We would like to find Athena a home with either other small dogs or cats. She’s sweet and the lesser rambunctious than her sister, matching the energy of the animal she’s around. If her sister is wild, she can turn it up, but she’s also the first one to go back to her pen for a nap. She would prefer a home without small kiddos due to her teeny size.

Due to her size and age, adopters should be ready to continue with potty training, since she is too young to be fully potty trained. She is used to sleeping in a pen with her sister, but doesn’t have any experience with the leash, again due to her young age.

Adopters should be prepared to take on the responsibility of a young puppy and to provide Athena with everything that she needs to thrive throughout her life.

Athena is currently being fostered in Lago Vista, TX and is available for adoption in Central Texas.
