Meet Apricot!

Apricot is a 2.5 month old chihuahua mix who weighs almost 7 lbs. We don’t know what her mom or dad looked like, but we predict that she will grow into a small adult dog.

Apricot is a happy, sweet little girl who likes everybody---people, dogs of all sizes, and cats too.

Playful and inquisitive, Apricot’s little tail is always wagging. She loves tussling with her toys, romping with other dogs, or curling up in a dog bed with a chewie and favorite toy. She’s curious and alert, bravely exploring the fenced-in yard in her foster home. But her favorite activity is settling in for a good cuddle with her humans. She absolutely loves to be held in your lap for your favorite TV show or for your own nap!

Apricot is not leash-trained yet, but she’s almost potty-trained. She sleeps through the night and makes her first greeting sound in the morning.
